In My Frozen Heart

My addiction and obsession with ARTMS' Virtual Angel has officially escalated into what I'm hoping will be an art series, starting with this HeeJin illustration/painting of mine! Man, that song really did a number on me, huh? Hahahaha. Initially, in my head, I just wanted to do a simple portrait or sketch of her... but it definitely turned into something a lot more ambitious. It may not look like it at first glance, but, boi, did I take my time making this one!

This particular piece had such a rough start at first and quite a lengthy journey towards a good feeling finish line that I honestly have no idea if I managed to accurately depict her enthralling beauty and capture the vibe and atmosphere of the song and music video. That's up to y'all to decide if you like how it all turned out! I do hope that I managed to make something good here overall.

Anyway, I don't really know what else to say. I'll do what I can to get another one done for this art series sooner rather than later, but I can't promise much on a particular time table since I do have a client-based art job always ongoing behind the scenes. Though not yet a hundred percent sure who I'll be illustrating next. Hahahaha. So, here's to hoping... I guess!
